Art Yarn

 
 
This listing is for two skeins of art yarn totaling 180g. Jacobs, Blue faced Leicester and silk. Very soft. 
 
Sharon sources wool fibre from Sheep farms all over Ireland which she washes and dyes.  The Irish wool is chosen for its texture and appearance and dyed to be used as grasses or waves etc for felting and also for this beautiful art yarn.  Also included in this yarn is silk fibre and threads from India, Alpaca, Jacobs wool and Cheviot wool from Co. Wicklow, soya, rose, nettle and bamboo fibres. Some commercial wool may be included from the small bits leftover from felting classes. 
 
The yarn is produced in small amounts and works well as an accent in knitting, crochet, weaving and felting.
