This design is based on a photo taken by my mum of the view from the front of our home in Kerry. Been Hill is one of the mountains we can see. It is one of the highest points in the area with panoramic views to Dingle and Cahersiveen and beyond. Many archaeological sites have been located on this mountain including Rock art and standing stones. It is located on the Ring of Kerry and saw the Great Southern Railway on its slopes. The whole area is steeped in ancient Irish history.
