Currently in stock - selected of handdyed handspun coiled art yarn, most of which are Irish wool with a smidge of Indian silk for lustre. And a mixed yarn with various fibres left over from felting classes - including silk fibre and threads, nepps, yarns etc.

There are bulky yarns, thick and thin spins, coiled yarns, natural and handyed. This yarn contains washed and fibre sourced  directly from  Irish sheep farms (Romney, Jacobs, Llyn, Dorset, Suffolk, Belclare, Rouge, Wensleydale, Black faced mountain, Black nose Valais, Lanark and more. This is combined with Indian silk threads and fibre and some commercial wool fibre. 
 
The coiled yarn is coiled over polyester or cotton embroidery thread.
 
There is an abundance of texture and colour in each skein.
Skeins are of different weights and sizes.
They are suitable for many textile arts. They can be used in felting, weaving, peg loom rug making, knitting and crochet etc. They make amazing accents in plain garments.
 
When cutting an art yarn make sure to tie off the ends so that they don't unravel.
