WET FELTING LANDSCAPES CLASS 
4 WEEKS
Thursdays Oct 23rd, Oct 30th,  Nov 13th, Nov 20th (please note there is a week break in the middle)
10.30am - 1pm
 
This is a comprehensive class aimed at people with some felting experience. In this series you will work on a landscape of your chosing. You will learn how to create the layers, apply the fibres, use other materials for added texture, learn about basic composition. You will get to understand the different types of wool fibre and how they work best. You will learn how to wet felt a picture, then add detail with needlefelting and embroidery. During the classes I will do a couple of demos on dyeing wool fibre and machine embroidery.  Most materials will be supplied but students are encouraged to bring personal fabrics, tweeds, buttons, beads and felting wool they already have as it helps to personalise the work more. 
 
This is a popular class held in Bray with a view across to Bray Head and the Sugarloaf mountains. There is parking available. Teas and coffee and snacks etc  If you need directions on how to get here by bus, dart or car you can contact me ahead to make a plan.  But detailed instructions will be given ahead of the class after booking is received. 
 
For students with extra needs, allergies or physical injuries etc please contact me before booking. I can discuss with you arrangements to help you be able to attend this course. I own a Gentle Roller felting machine which is a great help to myself and to students with arm, hand and shoulder issues.
